Two issues have been found in libcaca, a lbrary and tools for text mode graphics. The issues are related to a missing overflow check and a buffer overflow, which might lead to local execution of arbitrary code.
For Debian 10 buster, these problems have been fixed in version 0.99.beta19-2.1+deb10u2.
We recommend that you upgrade your libcaca packages.
