The security fix for CVE-2026-42496 (symlink escape in Archive::Tar),
published for perl as ELA-1856-1, broke the test suite of the
libmodule-cpants-analyse-perl package.
This regression update adjusts the unit tests accordingly.
For Debian 10 buster, these problems have been fixed in version 0.99-1+deb10u1.
For Debian 11 bullseye, these problems have been fixed in version 1.01-1+deb11u1.
For Debian 9 stretch, these problems have been fixed in version 0.96-1+deb9u1.
We recommend that you upgrade your libmodule-cpants-analyse-perl packages.
