When a PHP release has support funded, Freexian will provide security support for it for at least 6 years after its publication. This is beyond upstream’s end-of-life, and will typically be extended as long as there is demand from customers and as long as it is technically possible to maintain it for a given target platform.
Customers who are funding security support will get 1 year of notice before we drop support for old releases.
Debian and Ubuntu releases are supported at least 5 years and can be supported for up to 10 years, if there are customers funding support for those old releases.
