An issue has been found in libcaca, a lbrary and tools for text mode graphics. The issue is related to a missing overflow check which results in undefined behaviour.
For Debian 11 bullseye, these problems have been fixed in version 0.99.beta19-2.2+deb11u2.
For Debian 9 stretch, these problems have been fixed in version 0.99.beta19-2.2+deb9u4.
