Freexian provides security support for PHP releases for at least 6 years after their initial publication. This is beyond upstream’s end-of-life, and will typically be extended as long as there is demand from customers and as long as it is technically possible to maintain it for a given target operating system.
Customers get 1 year of prior notice before we drop support for old PHP releases.
Debian and Ubuntu LTS releases are supported for up to 10 years.
